I originally contact TRD directly and ask for Big Brake Kit for the corolla XRS but they say they don't make them, but now I see that Scion tC have one from them, so i am wondering can this part fit in the corolla XRS.

first thing to consider are the rims big enough to fit the extra size caliper, so as the offset of the rims.

with the right rims it is possible.

OEM rims, it is not

I think most BBKs work with 17" wheels minimum so it might be possible with the XRS wheels. as they have a +39 offset too.

First of all. There is a Wilwood kit out made for the 10th gen.

Secondly, the Front brake setup on the 10th gen is the same as on the XD. Some food for thought.

Rotor wise, there are two measurements that would really matter. The rotor bolt pattern and the hub bore. Which is the same as the 9th gen corolla, the matrix, the vibe, tc and celica. Thickness of the rotor and the diameter wouldn't matter so much unless you're building your own bbk. manufacturers usually sell you a bbk that come with calipers that match the rotors that they intend to use with them.

Caliper Wise, the Celica and TC share the same caliper. if the TC setup works, then so does the Celica, and that opens the door to more options.

Just curious as to why a bigger brake kit is needed. Usually the course of action would be better tires, performance brake pads. Just seems like a more costly way to proceed.

besides the whole performance aspect, tiny brakes look bad behind big wheels.

In my opinion, if you're doing mods to make your car faster you should do this mod to make it stop faster too.

That is the reason for me doing this Mod. Making it fast, is easy, but making it stop at high speed is harder.

i too am looking to improve braking distance because i am making the car faster. I was initially interested in putting brembo brake calipers on and i found that to be well above my price range as it looked like i need to change out the master cylinder so it can handle the larger calipers with more pistons. and all new brake lines that can support the new master cylinder. so im not sure what im going to do now, im looking into just getting EBC pads and rotors but not really rushing into a decision yet. I am interest in performance shocks but not really sure what brand to go with any help with ideas for brakes and shocks i would appreciate. i already have trd swaybar, fr upper strut, ur lower front bar n sway bar n rear upper strut, trd springs.

o i just looked up wilwood brake kits i found one for scion xb but just the front brake kit is $1900 and 2k if you want drilled rotors. ouch but it does work with stock master cylinder
