Damn Kay. They used the stupid old "because you have custom parts on your car" line.
With something like that you can't go to a different dealor? Maybe Longo?

Yeah, Im going to try Longo next for the warranty repair... hopefully they will be better. I have used their bodyshop before and it is top notch.

Sorry to hear that, Kay. Yeah, try Longo. Don't go to Keyes. They'll screw you too. They tried to screw me once, but I called them out on it. Haha.

And this was lowered on TRD springs (at that time), mind you, which are supposed to be under warranty.

^^^Should have shown the manager your Glock during the test ride
Has this been fixed yet? I don't know about Cali but here in Mass glass is covered under your comprehensive automoblie insurance, meaning ANY glass repairs are "free" and your rates don't go up. I smashed the windshield on my last Wrangler 3 times in ONE month (punched it the first time, fixed, wanted to see how the windshield folded down the hood....dropped it putting it back up, broke again, fixed, hit branch four wheeling, broke again.....worhwhile having ins that year)

I use to be a Team Leader there. Worked there only for a year because I couldn't stand the service manager. They can't keep good technicians. They treat there employees like crap and anyone thats anygood leaves.

I know this is an old thread, but once the repair was done I wouldn't have gone back.

OK, so what dealer do people recommend in the Conejo Valley area for warranty repairs? I just bought a 2010 Sienna (from Norwalk Toyota) and it seems like people hate TO Toyota and Simi Valley as well.
Oxnard? Northridge? I guess I could to to Santa Monica, they always seemed pretty good when we had our 4Runner.
And what about independent shops for service in the area? I found this guy on the internet, Ken's Quality Auto Repair in Thousand Oaks
http://www.kensqualityauto.com/index.html
Anybody have any experience with them?
